More Than a Cleanser: 7 Ways to Use Moringa Cleansing Balm

The Moringa Cleansing Balm may be best known as the cleansing ritual at the heart of Emma Hardie, but there is more to this buttery balm than removing the day.

Its rich, cushiony texture makes it wonderfully versatile. From your everyday cleanse to dry cuticles, flyaways and even an overnight scalp treatment, a little balm can go a long way.

Here are seven ways to make more of your Moringa Cleansing Balm.

Watch: 7 ways to use Moringa Cleansing Balm

1. Make it your everyday cleanse

This is where Moringa Cleansing Balm feels most at home.

Massage an almond-sized amount onto dry skin across the face, neck and décolleté. The buttery balm melts into an oil as you massage, helping to lift away makeup, SPF and daily build-up.

Add a little warm water and it transforms into a soft milk. Remove with a warm, damp Dual Action Cleansing Cloth to leave skin feeling clean, soft and comfortable.

For a little more time with your ritual, use Emma Hardie’s signature massage technique, working in lines rather than circles before removing.

2. Add gentle exfoliation

Your Moringa Cleansing Balm and Dual Action Cleansing Cloth work together to make a thorough cleanse feel beautifully simple.

After emulsifying the balm, use the soft microfibre side of the cloth to remove cleanser and daily build-up.

Follow with the cotton muslin side to gently polish the skin and lift away flaky areas, leaving it feeling smoother and more refined.

It is an easy way to bring gentle exfoliation into your cleansing ritual without adding another step.

3. Turn it into a comfort mask

When skin feels as though it needs a little more nourishment, take a little longer with your balm.

Apply a generous layer to clean, dry skin and leave it on for 10–15 minutes.

Then remove with your warm Dual Action Cleansing Cloth.

It turns a familiar everyday cleanser into a comforting treatment when your skin wants a little extra care.

4. Keep it close for dry lips

A tiny amount of Moringa Cleansing Balm can also be smoothed over dry lips when they need a little softness and comfort.

Warm a small amount between your fingertips before gently pressing it onto the lips.

Keep the application light. A little is all you need.

5. Give dry cuticles some attention

Your ritual does not need to stop at your face.

Massage a small amount of Moringa Cleansing Balm around dry cuticles and nails before bed, then leave it on overnight for an extra layer of comfort.

It is a simple final step when hands and cuticles need a little more care.

6. Press onto areas that need extra comfort

Very dry areas can sometimes benefit from something richer than your everyday body care.

Warm a little balm between your fingertips and press it onto dry patches wherever they need extra nourishment.

For particularly dry areas, leave a small amount on overnight for a little extra comfort.

7. Smooth dry ends, tame flyaways or treat your scalp

Moringa does not have to stay in your skincare ritual.

Warm the smallest amount between your fingertips and smooth it lightly over dry ends or flyaways. Start sparingly, particularly on finer hair, and add more only if needed.

You can also use the balm as an overnight scalp treatment. Massage a small amount through the scalp before bed, leave overnight, then shampoo thoroughly the following morning.

It is one of the more unexpected ways to use Moringa Cleansing Balm, and another reason your jar may find its way beyond the bathroom sink.

A little extra: use it when shaving

There is one more use worth knowing.

The rich, cushiony texture of Moringa Cleansing Balm can also be used as a shaving balm, helping provide comfortable razor glide while leaving skin feeling soft afterwards.

Think of this one as a bonus use whenever your usual shaving product is not to hand.

The botanical behind the ritual

Moringa has sat at the heart of this much-loved formula for fifteen years.

Moringa seed extract is naturally rich in antioxidants and fatty acids, helping to nourish the skin and support its natural barrier while keeping it feeling soft and comfortable.

Moringa oleifera has also been studied for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. It is part of what makes this botanical such an interesting ingredient across skin and body care.

In our Moringa Cleansing Balm, it sits alongside vitamin-rich plant oils and an uplifting aromatic blend of orange, neroli, mandarin, jasmine and rose.

The result is a formula designed to cleanse thoroughly, feel beautiful to use and leave skin nourished and comfortable.

One balm, your ritual

There is no need to use Moringa Cleansing Balm in all seven ways.

Its versatility simply gives you more options. Reach for it for your evening cleanse, keep a little back for dry cuticles, or discover an unexpected use that earns its place in your own ritual.

And with the generous 200g supersize, there is a little more Moringa to make your own.
